I got my first taste of stamping from my grandma many years ago and loved it! She bought me a couple of stamps and inks, and taught me how to heat emboss. However, being as young as I was I didn't exactly have the income to support the hobby. My allowance didn't go quite far enough and I set the hobby aside for several years.
In 2008, while living overseas as a military wife, one of my girlfriends invited me to a card class. This was my re-introduction to stamping. I had a great time and knew that if I got into stamping as a hobby I would jump in head-over-feet and never look back. I already had one expensive hobby, photography (feel free to see what else I do at http://www.angelaandrieux.com), and wasn't sure I could afford another. I took a couple of months to think about it, and I couldn't get it out of my mind.
Eventually I decided to take the plunge, and ordered a bunch of crafting products. I loved them! I ended up joining a stamp club with several of my girlfriends and began building my collection of supplies and creating a collection of cards and other handcrafted paper products.
I have a blast creating and sharing my love of crafting with others. One of the ways I do that, in addition to this blog, is through the Avidly Stamping shop on Etsy. Please visit and see what I have to offer. I am available for a variety of custom orders in addition to the goods available in my shop. Keep me in mind for party invitations (wedding, baby, birthday, etc), party favors, thank you notes, and gifts for friends, loved ones, or maybe even yourself!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and shop!
