Color Throwdown #45

I'm really enjoying color challenges! It forces me to combine colors that I would  have never thought to put together on my own, and the results are always beautiful.  This week I made a card for the Color Throwdown Challenge #45.

Here is my interpretation (using some of my new stamps from my most recent SU! shipment!):

Card Recipe (All Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Friends 24-7, Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel
Inks: Green Galore, Chocolate Chip, Stampin' Write Markers
Papers: Green Galore, Chocolate Chip, Pink Passion
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch

Tri-shutter Card

I'm always purusing the web looking for new card ideas.  About a week ago I came across this card.  I thought it was awesome and of course I had to give it a try for myself.  By following the links on Stamp on This blog I came to a short how-to on Split Coast Stampers, which then directed me to a link for The Craftiblog which had detailed instructions.

This card wasn't super hard, but it wasn't super easy, either.  It did, however, have impressive results.  What do you think?
