Welcome to my first crafting tutorial! We will be making a sticky note wallet similar to the one I posted a few days ago that we made at my craft class.
First we'll start with a piece of card stock measuring 8 1/4" x 3 1/8".
Score the card stock at 3 1/8", 3 3/8", 6 1/2", and 6 3/4".
Fold on the scored lines.
Using designer paper of your choice cut three pieces: two measuring 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" and one measuring 1" x 2 7/8".
Using the edge punch of your choice punch a border on the flap the overlaps on the front of the wallet.
Using SNAIL adhesive or other adhesive of your choice glue the designer paper to the outside of the wallet.
Next, using stamps and punches of your choice prepare an embellishment for the front of the wallet. I used a heart shaped stamp and heart punch.
I also sponged around the edge of my punched image to give it a more finished look.
Apply SNAIL adhesive to the top portion of your embellishment.
Apply embellishment to the overlapping flap of your wallet.
Using 2 7/8" x 2 7/8" sticky notes apply a strip of sticky strip to the back of the pad on the top and bottom.
Adhere sticky notes to the inside of the wallet.
Using pre-cut, self adhesive velcro patches apply BOTH pieces of velcro to the back of your embellishment. When you close the flap the opposing side of the velcro will be placed perfectly.
That's it! Wasn't it easy? Sticky note wallets are a cute addition to your desk and make great gifts!
Want to make one just like mine? Here is the supply recipe (All Stampin' Up!):
Stamps: Punch Potpourri
Inks: Basic Black
Papers: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Newsprint DSP, Sticky Notes
Accessories: Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Full Heart Punch, Stampin' Sponges, Sticky Strip, SNAIL Adhesive
Since this is my first time posting a tutorial I hope that it is clear and concise. If you have any suggestions for improving tutorials in the future I'd love to hear them.
